Rita Pavone, Eros Ramazzotti, Andrea Bocelli. That's all I knew about Italian Music (and i didn't even listen to them). But i feel extremely proud to announce the discovery of Jovanotti, one of the cutest things i've ever heard. Fresh and sincere. Mmmm...
Although he's been around since 1987, Jovanotti won my heart with the 1994 single Serenata Rap. Here's a sample of his lyrics: sono venuto qui /col giradischi e col microfono /insieme al mio complesso /per cantarti il sentimento /e se tu mi vorrai baciare /saro' contento /e questa serenata /e' la mia sfida col destino.
Well, his 2005 album Buon Sangue is to die for and, being this easy-to-impress girl, i can't stop listening to Una storia d'amore. If you get the chance, don't hesitate to dig in.
